Good corporate copy editing, proofreading, document design and layout, and logo design and artwork are the result of mutual understanding. My clients are happiest (and I am most fulfilled) when expectations are clear.


RATES & INCLUSIONS

The rate that I charge for a job is based on the brief. Specifically, it incorporates elements such as deadline, volume, and job parameters.

I itemise admininistration and research time as a flat fee in most project quotations.

Quotes are valid for 14 days. They include all professional services as listed in the quotation, as well as local travel.

All quotations include one set of minor changes for correction to factual copy editing errors. On the other hand, substantial rewrites may incur a 50% charge.

Please request changes in writing within 14 days of the first draft, in order to qualify for free changes.

 MY PROCESS

I’m able to confirm a job and add it to my booking schedule once you’ve signed the cost estimate and reviewed my Ts and Cs.
To confirm a job, I also require upfront payment of a 50% deposit.

I undertake not to discuss the content of research, articles, or meetings with any third party, except as necessary to complete your project.
Even so, you’re welcome to request a signed non-disclosure agreement from me.

I will invoice for the 50% balance on delivery of copy.

I provide all copy to clients in Microsoft Word format.

 PAYMENT METHODS

Please make payments via EFT. I’ll need to approve payments by cash or cheque deposit in writing, as they attract bank charges.

 COPYRIGHT & USAGE

My copyright applies to all work until final payment is made. In addition, all copy is for one-time use and any further use may attract a usage fee.
